Log 001 – So it begins
.
Testing, testing – is anyone out there?
.
Longevity is such an exciting word. Just typing it connects me to a world of possibilities, innovation, and untapped potential. To be at the frontier of this movement, still in its early days, gives me a rush that’s hard to describe. It feels like a privilege.
.
The desire to live longer isn’t new. Humans have flirted with the idea of immortality since the days when the world was divided between gods and mortals. But what was once a gift granted to a handful of heroes now feels strangely within reach for the “average person”, thanks to remarkable scientific progress across millennia. Still, the modern meaning packed into longevity adds a whole new layer to that ancient longing.
And honestly, that’s what I’d been missing: a North Star.
.
I’ve been into fitness for over a decade. More recently, I dove deeper into training protocols, supplements, and nutrition to enhance my performance. Without realizing it, I was gathering pieces of a puzzle – one that doesn’t just point to living longer, but also living better. Longevity gives that puzzle a more defined shape. It brings purpose. It connects different fields and experts under a single umbrella, giving this whole ecosystem a shared direction.
.
The word might be trending now – maybe even a little overused. But the industry? It’s here to stay. In fact, it’s projected to grow from $76.36 billion in 2024 to $366.58 billion by 2032.
.
We’re still early.
